In 2025, we will be replacing our current 2004 attack engine with a new structural fire engine.
The apparatus committee spent many hours specifying this vehicle to meet the increased demands for our services and signed a contract with Pierce Manufacturing in May of 2023.
The new engine will have:Seating for 5 firefighters.
A 2000 gallon per minute water pump.
A water tank with the capacity for 730 gallons of water and 20 gallons of foam concentrate.
A 450 HP Cummins diesel engine.
Hose bed capacity for 1500 feet of 5 inch supply line.
And much, much more.
The current delivery date for this piece is the Spring of 2025 at a cost of $817,000.
